Fashion Designer

Julia Lundsten is a Finnish born London based shoe designer, working under the label Finsk. After undertaking an MA in fashion womenswear, she went on to study footwear design at the Royal College of Art graduating in 2003 and won the Manolo Blahnik award two years running. In 2004 she launched her label FINSK and was recently awarded the 2007-08 Young Designer of the Year Award in Finland. Inspired by architecture and natural structures, her designs often incorporate furniture details and merge urban and organic forms.
