>Pulver

Fashion Designer

The design label Pulver, a German word which translates into "powder", was founded by Elisabeth Schotte, Franziska Schreiber, Therese Pfeil und Franziska Piefke in February 2003. Prior to founding Pulver, members of the design collective worked within the fashion industry for designers including Rubin Chapelle, Cynthia Rowley and Nigel Curtiss. The creative collective shares an ambition to express their shared vision of womenswear, which unites their diverse influences in order to create a collection that is complex but balanced. Pulver’s design process is often inspired by a fictional or real person such as Helen of Troy, Madam Curie or the character Margarita from Mikhail Bulgakov’s novel The Master and Margarita.Since Pulver’s conception in 2003 the design label has gone on to win the 'Who's Next' ('jeune créateurs') Contest in June 2006 and was featured in the New Generation Award Show in the January 2008 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. The label has a boutique in Berlin and is also sold throughout Europe, Japan and Hong Kong
