Tillmann Lauterbach is a fashion designer based in Paris. Born in Germany, raised in Ibiza and educated in Switzerland, Lauterbach studied pattern cutting at ESMOD in Paris He graduated in 2003 with the award for Best Womeswear and joined Plein Sud as assistant designer. Two years later the designer started his own label Tillmann Lauterbach Paris and the same year gave his first presentation in the French capital. Since then, Lauterbach has shown in Paris, Barcelona and Vienna. Although foremost concerned with womenswear, Lauterbach soon began designing a menswear line, first shown at Paris Men’s Fashion Week in 2007. Among other things, Tillmann has guest edited Sleek Mag, and collaborated with shoe designer Robert Clergerie.
