Professor Penny Martin is a writer and broadcaster on fashion and photography. She is the Rootstein Hopkins Chair of Fashion Imagery at London College of Fashion, before which she was Editor in Chief of SHOWstudio for seven years. She has curated many exhibitions, real world and especially online, and commissioned a wide range of photography, digital art and writing. She previously worked at The National Museum of Photography, Film & Television, The Women's Library and Manchester Metropolitan University. Penny has lectured internationally and contributes to publications including Another, Beaux Arts, Blueprint, Contemporary, Fantastic Man, Frieze, Harper's Bazaar, i-D, Numéro, UK Vogue, Japanese Vogue, Japanese Vogue Hommes magazines and La Repubblica and The Independent newspapers. Penny is also a presenter on BBC2's The Culture Show.
