Penny Martin, Editor in Chief of SHOWstudio, is a curator and writer on fashion and photography who has lectured internationally. Since studying at Glasgow and Manchester Universities and The Royal College of Art, she has worked as a Curator at The National Museum of Photography, Film & Television and The Women's Library and as a Researcher and Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University. Penny curated the Vogue Laid Out exhibition at The V&A in 2000 and is an interviewer for The National Sound Archive. She has also contributed to Another, Beaux Arts, Blueprint, Contemporary, Fantastic Man, Frieze, Harper's Bazaar, i-D, Numéro, UK Vogue and Japanese Vogue magazines and La Repubblica and The Independent newspapers. Penny is also a presenter on BBC2's The Culture Show.
