Naomi Campbell is a model living in New York and St. Tropez, who broke new ground during the 1980s and 90s, typifiying the physique, attitude and business acumen that engendered the 'Supermodel' movement. Since being discovered at the age of fifteen on the streets of London’s Covent Garden, Naomi Campbell has gone on to become one of Britain’s most successful models, fronting campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Versace, Jazz, Francois Nars, Dolce and Gabbana and Roc-A-Wear. She has been photographed by leading photographers Patrick Demarchelier, Steven Meisel, Richard Avedon, Herb Ritts, Ellen Von Unwerth, Mario Testino and Peter Lindbergh, and was the first black model to feature on the cover of Time magazine and French Vogue. Aside from her busy modelling career, Naomi has also appeared in films by Michelangelo Antonioni, Steve DiMarco and Spike Lee, co-authored the novel ‘Swan’ and launched her own cosmetics range and lifestyle, branding and events company, NC.Connect. She continues to use her influence as a leading fashion figure to raise awareness for various charity campaigns including Breast Cancer Awareness and the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund.
