Veronique Leroy's upward trajectory
It's a sure fire sign that a designer is increasing in importance when leading figures join their 'show team'. Tonight, perhaps the most innovative figure in contemporary make-up, Peter Phillips, appeared on Veronique Leroy's show credits, joining key heavyweight hair stylist Marc Lopez and musical co-ordinator Michel Gaubert in staging yet another fine presentation of strong silhouettes on fierce, statuesque women from the petite Belgian designer.
