LIVE STUDIO Gareth's hard slog!
For the second time here at Bruton Place Gareth Pugh will work into the evening, creating his new and unique garment for SHOWstudio SHOP and answering the veritable deluge of viewer questions that have flooded in over the past eight-or-so hours. To lend a helping hand with some of those more frequent queries, here are the basics: Gareth is creating a dress from a huge metreage of CHRISANNE 'Angelskin' fabric, all of it painstakingly slashed by hand (which is why the process is taking slightly longer than expected!). The task is evidently not inconsiderable - Gareth is not only sewing the dress from scratch, but has also drafted a new pattern for it - and hence today he drafted in some stalwart help in the form of his assistant Lucy.
Gareth will be continuing to create his one-off dress in-house throughout tomorrow, while on Wednesday Nick Knight will photograph the results in the LiveStudio space at Bruton Place, ready for the dress to be retailed in the SHOWstudio SHOP Log onto our LiveStudio page to watch the progress and also to pose your own questions to Gareth over the next 24-hours of our first LiveStudio creative frenzy!
