Today we bid a fond farewell to our long-serving Art Director Paul Bruty who is leaving us to start a new life in Australia with his lovely wife, Tamara. Paul joined SHOWstudio in December 2000, a month after the site’s launch and worked alongside Creative Director Paul Hetherington and Motion Image Director Adam Mufti. Over the past eight years, Paul Bruty has been responsible for the site's design and build, and involved in a good majority of the 250+ projects in our archive, highlights of which include bravely stripping down to his pants in front of photographer Alice Hawkins in ‘Alice's Adventures’ (2004) and participating in our ‘Twelve Days’ Christmas card series (2006). As well as being an outstanding graphic designer (and illustrator), Paul is also a much-loved member of the team - something clearly apparent in the leaving card that has been (somewhat slowly) passed around the studio in the past week, which contains phrases including “fond memories", “utterly dependable”, “sadly missed” and “simply the best”. We are now off to the Brittannia, our trusty local, for a few farewell drinks.

8 Years and 250+ Projects, Wow! Good luck with your move, and thanks for keeping ShowStudio in such good shape! Charlie
