After last nights genius Simons presentation the first show on a Sunday morning was always going to be tough. With journalists thin on the floor Italian designer JP Cassa took the mantle. Founded in 2004 Unity has always aimed to blend European culture with modern clothes into what the designer describes as a 'civilian uniform'. For this winter Cassa's signature tailoring translated into the current slouchy mood with texture, fabric manipulation and tweed all playing an important role.
i am sure there is quality and refinement of both line and materials here,but as a spectacle or show it doesn't keep me on the edge of my seat.
I guess it comes down to what you are looking at from these shows,entertainment or commerce.
