Sweet farewell to the Ice(landic) Maiden

Anna Gudbrandsdottir exits SHOWstudio for the final time

It was a bittersweet celebration last night as our longest-serving intern to date, the fabulous Anna Gudbrandsdottir, left SHOWstudio after an extraordinary 18 MONTHS of hard work. Departing to further her own photography -not to mention honing her burgeoning DJing activities- Icelandic Anna was much beloved for her cool, unflappable temperament, Nico-like good looks, fantastic collection of Miu Miu heels and eBay hats and especially her withering one-liners. Highlights during her stellar tenure include: wrestling to protect her pitch in the photographer's pit whilst filming Gareth Pugh's catwalk shows; guarding the Swarovski jewels with her life whilst supervising the 12 Days project; behaving like a fearless pap with the Polaroid camera during the Replenishing Body gallery run; being particularly vigilant whilst the half-naked male dancer was on set during the 24hrs broadcast (!) and providing a peerless cup of coffee first thing, without fail. What a heroine!
