HAUTE COUTURE S/S 2007: Givenchy finale

Confirming his status as a designer conscious of spectacle above all else, Tisci had his model convene in a tableau behind glass (a little reminiscent of McQueen's 'Voss' come to think of it), which -with the streaming condensation on the inside of the glass and the models' languid poses- had more than a touch of Deborah Turbeville's bath scenes about it.

Why do so few people get to see these fantastic pieces of contemporary "fasion ttheatre"? The fashion houses must start to realise lots and lots of people want to see this
Keep up the coverage Penny,we are loving it.
Much better quality too this season.

I couldn't agree more. The constant bombardment of criticism of couture relates, partially, to the insignificant number in the audience. Could this perhaps be combated by reruns of the shows?
