Wired for Live Tomorrow
It's all hands on deck getting all the tech in place for tomorrow's live shoot (and it's been tight, but it's looking to be exciting). In advance of the live console being launched later tonight, I've been putting together a newswire for our subscribers that outlines the instructions for participating. Here's a sneak preview:
And so the day is almost upon us. You've familiarised yourself with the
Comme des Garcons deconstructed crinolines in 'Victorian' mood board and
virtually stroked the embroidered Margiela T-shirts in 'Biker'. Now progress
on to the real thing and step up for your debut as Liberty's virtual
stylist. The best look from the project will win an unique, Yves Klein-like
imprint of Liberty Ross's body, captured during her 'Fragments of Me' video
portrait series.

1) VIEW THE CLOTHES
Click open the doors of the WARDROBE section and you will see images of all
the clothes Liberty will be dressing in over the next three days. Featuring
almost every imaginable brand, from Louis Vuitton, Lanvin and Undercover and
the new Comme des Garcons line by Tao Kurihara, to Jil Sander, Rochas and
Hussein Chalayan, these are arranged into nine individual looks. Three looks
will be photographed each day, first up at 10:30 tomorrow morning, is
'Victorian'.
2) REGISTER, LOG-IN AND CHAT
A CHATROOM has already opened inside the project, where you can discuss
what's unfolding throughout the shoot and make your application to have a
one-to-one with Liberty and be her virtual stylist. To be eligible, first
you need to REGISTER. To take part you must then LOG-IN and remain on-line
to see if you are invited by Liberty for a private styling session. You can
chat with Liberty and other people who are also logged in at that time. You
don't actually need to chat to be invited, but don't be shy!
3) WATCH THE LIVE VIDEO STREAM: DRESS ME UP
You can watch and listen as each participant undertakes their own styling
session. There will be approximately one and half hours of styling session
per look, each up to 15 minutes long. As each participant creates a look we
will capture photographs and post them to the GALLERY section.
4) WATCH THE LIVE VIDEO STREAM: DRESS ME DOWN
Nick will select one of the looks you created in the Dress Me Up session,
and that will be recreated and deconstructed. Nick's final sequence of
images will be posted to the POLAROIDS section.
5) INTERVAL
There will be an interval for hair and make up between each of the three
sessions when the video streaming will only show a sign, notifying you of
the starting time of the next session. Check the news board at the top of
the Chatroom for updates and times when sessions will start and end. While

project.
